Financial Fitness is a life-long process that starts from the moment an individual gets his first allowance as a child, to the day he retires. At Coastway, we believe that education is the greatest tool for a healthy financial life.

Financial Fitness for Organizations

In 2011, Coastway developed a financial literacy curriculum, drawing off the FDIC’s financial literacy materials, called Dollar Wise. The curriculum covers basic banking topics, ranging from simple saving and budgeting strategies; to managing a checking account; to building and protecting your credit; to preventing identity theft. Our financial educators will tailor their presentation for the age, stage and size of your group to best meet your needs. Organizations that have benefited from  DollarWise include the Providence Housing Authority, Youth in Action and the Salvation Army. To learn more about DollarWise, please contact Jane Kratsch, at (401) 861-2583 or Claudia Cardozo at (401) 330-1688.
